Terms
Effective October 2, 2026
Payment before work begins
Full payment is required before work begins. An inquiry does not reserve a project or session. Pricing and scope will be confirmed before payment.
Turnaround and required materials
Standard turnaround begins only after full payment and all required information and supporting materials have been received. Business days exclude weekends and holidays. Delays in client responses, approvals, or materials may move the delivery date; an updated timeline will be communicated.
Revisions
One consolidated round of revisions is included for written deliverables unless otherwise noted. Send feedback together in one set. Revisions refine the agreed deliverable; a new direction, additional deliverables, or a change to approved scope is additional work. Media Training and Project Consultation are live sessions, not written revision packages.
Additional revisions and scope changes
Additional revisions or scope changes may cost more. Any added fee and timeline will be agreed in writing before additional work begins.
Rush work
Rush work is subject to availability and additional fees, confirmed in writing before payment.
Refunds and cancellations
To cancel, email hello@jethronededog.com. Before work begins, a cancelled written project is eligible for a full refund. Once work has begun, completed work is payable; any unearned portion will be refunded based on the work completed, with an explanation of the calculation. Completed deliverables and sessions are not refundable solely because a third-party outcome did not occur. If Jethro cannot complete the agreed work, the unearned portion will be refunded. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that applicable law requires.
Media Training rescheduling and no-shows
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule Media Training or Project Consultation. With that notice, a session may be rescheduled at no additional charge, subject to availability, or cancelled for a refund of the session fee. For less than 24 hours’ notice or a no-show, the reserved session fee may be retained; emergencies will be considered individually. If Jethro must reschedule, you may choose a new time or a refund. Late arrival does not automatically extend the reserved session.
Delayed or abandoned projects
If required materials or feedback have not arrived for 30 days, the project may be paused after an email reminder. After 90 days without a response, it may be closed with written notice. Completed work remains payable; any unearned balance will be refunded under the cancellation policy. Restarting a paused project depends on availability, and any new scope or fee will be agreed in advance.
Factual accuracy and final approval
The client is responsible for verifying facts, names, titles, dates, quotations, data, and other claims, and for giving final approval before publication or use. Draft quotes must be approved by the named spokesperson. Jethro will work carefully with the information supplied, but the service does not include an independent fact-checking investigation or legal review.
Rights to client materials
The client is responsible for having permission to provide and use source documents, images, quotations, data, and other materials, including permissions needed to share personal or confidential information. Provide only materials you are authorized to share.
Ownership of deliverables
After full payment, ownership of the final custom written deliverables transfers to the client. Pre-existing templates, training presentations, tools, and methods remain Jethro’s property; the client may use supplied training materials internally for their own reference. Third-party materials remain subject to their existing rights.
Working files and records
Jethro may retain working files, drafts, correspondence, and internal project records for service administration, continuity, and recordkeeping. Retention does not authorize public sharing or portfolio use of confidential client work.
Confidentiality
Nonpublic information supplied for a project will be treated as confidential and used to provide the agreed services. It may be shared with service providers only as needed for that work, or where disclosure is legally required. Information already public, lawfully obtained elsewhere, or independently developed is not confidential under this provision. Separate confidentiality agreements may be arranged for custom projects.
Third-party outcomes
Media coverage, publication, placement, engagement, or other third-party outcomes are not guaranteed. Editorial decisions, platform performance, and audience responses are outside Jethro’s control.
Liability limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for ordinary service-related claims is limited to the fees paid for the affected service, and indirect or consequential losses are excluded. This limitation does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and does not remove any rights that applicable law protects.
Payment disputes
If there is a billing or service concern, please email hello@jethronededog.com so it can be reviewed promptly. Relevant project records may be provided to the payment processor to respond to a dispute. Contacting Jethro first is encouraged but does not waive any lawful dispute rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by California law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to the client. No mandatory arbitration or exclusive court location is imposed by these terms.
Custom projects
Custom projects may require a separate quote, scope, schedule, or written agreement. Any separately agreed project terms control where they differ from this page.
