About Jethro Nededog
I’m a communications professional, editor, and former journalist with experience spanning national entertainment media, corporate communications, and nonprofit communications.
I’ve held senior editorial roles at TheWrap, Business Insider, Entertainment Weekly, and The Hollywood Reporter, where I worked in fast-moving news environments and learned firsthand what makes a story compelling, what journalists need, and why some pitches get attention while others don’t.
I later brought that newsroom experience into communications work, helping organizations and leaders sharpen their messaging, develop content, prepare for media opportunities, and communicate more clearly with the audiences they need to reach.
My work also includes nonprofit communications with PFLAG Los Angeles, supporting messaging, digital content, social media, and communications around programs and advocacy.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in journalism from New York University and a master’s degree in professional writing from the University of Southern California.
My goal is simple: senior-level communications support without the agency retainer.
